Detailed descriptions of volunteer positions
Videographer: Responsible for using MPJFAI video equipment to record game footage. This will be used for film breakdown and distributed to the players as a learning tool through the online HUDL video software.
Photographer: One designated official photographer will be allowed on the sideline during games. Anyone proficient with Photo editing software that would like to help compiling snapshots into a slide show would be greatly appreciated as well.
Team Coordinator: Responsible for attending in-season board meetings, distributing pictures, fundraiser and banquet information. Must maintain consistant communication with Head Coach and families.
Chain Crew: Technically part of the officiating crew, your responsibility is to mark the down and distance for the current drive, you will work with the line judge to set up for each play. It is expected that you will be impartial and will not be coaching players or speaking to opposing plyaers from the sideline. It offers a very unique perspective of the game and you may learn quite a bit doing it.
Concessions Assistant Coordinator: Will work with Concessions Coodinator to procure product, set up, serve and break down the BEST concessions stand in our league. Just stating facts here!
Concessions Worker: Responsible for helping run concession stand preferably not when your child is participating so you can enjoy watching them.
Practice Managers: Responsible for assisting in setting up tackling circuit drills and keeping practice times on schedule.
Website Maintanance: Responsible for updating website with information requested by coaches or the board.
Coaching: Requires attending clinics, practices, games, board meetings etc., will be responsible for learning and teaching the jr panther system and assisting head coach in various capacities.
Equipment Manager: Requires attendance at practices and games, will be responsible for helping players adjust pads and straps, tightening loose facemasks, putting air in helmets and various other small equipment adjustments.
