The Mehlville Panthers Junior Football Association, Incorporated was founded in 1999 as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting middle school athletes in the Mehlville community.  Our goal is to help develop well-rounded young men and women by providing activities that ehnhance their minds, bodies, and spirits.  We acheive this through quality instruction of fundamentally sound techniques and stressing lessons of value that reach far beyond the football field such as sportsmanship, scholarship, self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, dedication, leadership, comraderie and above all having fun!

The organization is made up entirely of volunteers, most of whom no longer have children in the program.

We coach strong fundamentals and introduce a system based off of the Mehlville Highschool football program.  We are in direct communication with Eric Meyer, Head Varsity Coach, and we coordinate our program with the Freshman Head Coach so our athletes can make a smooth transition into their freshman season.  Our players tend to be leaders on their freshman teams.  Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of football to area youth who are interested in playing football at Mehlville High School.

The Jr. Panther Cheerleading program started in 2010 to develop a quality middle school program that allows for continued skill development while providing inspiration, enthusiasm, and support for Jr. Panther football and basketball.  The Junior Panther Cheerleader by bringing together students, alumni, and fans in the community to create spirit, pride and traditions in a safe and respectful environment.
